Planning with us is a conversation, not a checkout. You share what you want from Guyana; we turn it into a route that works and a proposal you can rely on.

Use the trip form or email us. Dates (or a rough window), who is travelling, what you want to see, the pace you enjoy and a budget range all help.
We aim to reply within two working days. We suggest a route, explain the trade-offs and ask anything we need to know.
We confirm the route, dates and price with the licensed local operator who would deliver your trip before putting anything in writing.
One document with the itinerary, total price, what is included and excluded, the prepayment and balance, cancellation terms and who delivers your trip.
Your booking is secured when you accept and pay the prepayment to Guyana Journey. You pay the balance directly to the operator in Guyana. We confirm everything in writing and stay your contact.
The proposal is the heart of the process. It is where everything becomes concrete, and it is what you accept or decline. It always contains the same elements, so you can compare and decide with confidence.
Prices in a proposal are valid for the period it states, because operators hold availability for a limited time. The proposal also states any condition set by the operator that affects you, such as baggage limits on light aircraft or minimum group sizes.

Your booking is secured only when you accept the proposal and pay the prepayment.
Including when something is not a good idea, such as a route that is too rushed for the season.
Buffers around flights, honest travel times and enough nights to enjoy each place.
Price, inclusions, payments and cancellation terms in writing before you commit.
Help before and during your trip, with the contacts you need listed in your proposal.
We aim to reply to a new request within two working days. How quickly a proposal follows depends mainly on how fast lodges and airlines confirm availability for your dates; we tell you what we are waiting for.
Yes. Revising a proposal once or twice is normal. We update the route and price until it is right for you.
No. Planning and proposals are free, and nothing is booked until you accept a proposal and pay the prepayment.
Your proposal lists who to contact during your travels. We stay reachable and work with you and the people on the ground on practical solutions, such as rearranging a flight after weather delays.
Share your dates, interests and the pace you enjoy. We reply with suggestions and, when you are ready, a written proposal with the route, prices, inclusions and who provides each part of the trip.
